I worked with Pinterest for the last quarter of 2014, and in that time did a host of projects and design for them. One part of my work for them involved proposing revised design for the landing page at Pinterest.com. The biggest objective for the homepage of Pinterest is to tell the story of the service using real world examples, and a sample of pins to aid that use case. I designed a system that could tell this story in an engaging format that could work with a variety of use cases and pins. Ultimately this design didn't make it to a live test, but it proposes some interesting ideas that I felt compelled to share here.
